So I’m not doing too bad for a kid that loved graffiti art that would never amount to anything, (most of my teachers words).
I’m a self publishing artist, raised in the Midlands, adopted by Yorkshire ‘God’s County’. Northern hospitality is just the best!
I create artwork of what i’m interested in, what inspires me.
I’m largely self taught, yes i did cut my teeth on the streets of Birmingham, although i did then briefly study graphic design at college before finding work as an airbrush artist.
So although I’ve been an artist in one way or another for a major part of my life this is only really the most recent side of my work.

I can remember first watching Formula 1 way back in the days of James Hunt, so it goes without saying I’ve done a fair bit of F1 related artwork.

There’s only a small selection of them here, or there would be pages and pages of them, so these are my personal favourites, and of course best sellers.

I chose the quote from Joker carefully, I find it very apt.
‘People are starting to notice’, which of course feels amazing, I’ve sent prints all over the world now, which will always feel a bit surreal knowing someone on the opposite side of the world has my art on their wall.
I do plan to stay as a self publishing artist and work with independent galleries rather than feel limited to what a publisher wants.
My work can be purchased directly from this website, at a significantly lower cost than a publisher represented artist, although appreciate i have to make a living, and even independent galleries need to take their percentage too.

Who doesn’t love a good edge of your seat movie, the good versus evil, I’ve always found myself intrigued by the villains and anti-heroes, ultimately good prevails but it’s always the villain we remember the most.

Of course they’re usually the most interesting to paint too, so form the bulk of my work, although i do try to balance it out with the good guys.

I’m as comfortable working with paints as I am with pencil, although i do love the real depth you can get using oil paints. I’m just as at home doing portraiture as I am doing cars, something you’ll see in my Movie Icons.
I’m also a bit of a detail ‘junkie’, I love the challenge of really detailed pieces. You’ll also see that i still have a bit of that graffiti influence in some of my work, i do like the juxtaposition of a grungy background and clean highly detailed subject.
I create art prints in both open and sometimes limited edition, with more being added regularly. I do occasionally part with original artwork too, please do enquire.
